"I did my Associates Degree in Early Childhood (lower elementary), graduating as the valedictorian. My Bachelor in Education is in Literacy Studies, it equipped me to be a Literacy Specialist and ESL teacher/tutor. My Masters in Education strengthens me to be even more skillful in teaching and learning, special needs inclusion, ICT in learning, research for learning among other areas.

Briefly, my background is as follows: I have 17 years of teaching experience. I have 14 of those years at an International School, interfacing with students from around the world. As a global citizen, I believe that my understanding of various cultures has helped me to better meet my student’s learning needs. My is principle is to find out my students learning style and preferences and formulate the necessary instruction around that basis. I make my lesson fun and inviting by using games, quizzes, songs and whatever it takes to learn the subject matter better. I have experience in teaching face to face as well as online classes. I presently tutor English as a Second Language Students from China via an online network. English is my mother tongue, however, I speak intermediate Spanish.

I have a Bachelor in Literacy Studies which makes me eligible to teach all the components of Literacy (eg reading, writing etc.) to all ages, even to adult . My degree also covers ESL from children to adult. I am also an online ESL tutor to students in China.
