"I’m Nik! I am an undergraduate student at the University of Texas at Austin where I am working

to complete my Bachelor of Science and Arts degree. I am a triplet with two brothers, I also have

two sisters, one older and one younger. I loved growing up in a big family and have always

enjoyed working with children. After graduation, I plan to continue my education and attend

medical school. I have worked closely with the management of INOVA Children’s hospital in

Fairfax, Virginia. Prior to that experience, I worked as an assistant teacher and tutor at the Laurel

Learning Center for two years in Reston, Virginia. I focused on tutoring children ages 6-12,

primarily on math assignments.

Calculus is the highest level of math I have achieved at the University of Texas. I am also

proficient in using Microsoft Excel and have completed a management information systems

course as part of my business minor coursework. I specialize in teaching math to elementary

students, kindergarten through sixth grade. I also possess an extensive educational background in

biology.

My goal is to help students feel more confident in various subjects. I enjoy engaging students to

help them acquire a deeper understanding of the desired subject. I encourage teamwork, and will

work hard to tackle any problem a student is having in understanding a subject. I plan to use all

of the resources I have at my disposal to motivate and stimulate their knowledge in a subject." less...
