"Hello. I am a middle school ELA teacher for at risk students in Orlando, FL. Throughout my career, I have worked with PreK up through 8th grade. I have experience with the special needs population, particularly the autistic spectrum and ADHD students.

My own child is on the autistic spectrum so I have first hand knowledge of this type of child. I am familiar with the IEP, CPSE and CSE procedures.

I am currently tutoring several students throughout Orlando. My primary focus is reading (phonics and comprehension) and writing skills. This includes vocabulary, grammar, sentence structure and spelling.

I teach through a multi-sensory approach since everyone learns differently. I offer online tutoring in a safe, one to one setting. With the busy lives of my families today, they find online tutoring very convenient. Scheduling sessions is the biggest benefit. Some families have many children that have to be in different places at the same time. With online tutoring, it can be done anywhere.

At the first lesson, I offer a free reading assessment (which is a $75.00 value). Yes. I said free. After the assessment, I sit down with you and discuss the results. You know your child better than anyone else. Together we decide on a learning plan that would best fit your child. At that point, we begin sessions working on what we decided the learning concepts should be.
