"Hello, I’m Kristy! I graduated from the University of Phoenix with my Bachelor’s in English. From there, I successfully completed all requirements to obtain my Teaching certification. I am Reading and ESOL endorsed planning on being endorsed in Civics this year

I have taught Freshman English, 4th grade Science, Writing and Social Studies and having been teaching 3rd grade for the last five years. Throughout my teaching career, I have extended lessons into small groups to better assist students that needed additional help with a topic or standard. I have two years Reading and Math tutoring experience with one on one students.

I truly enjoy helping students see and reach their potential. I believe all students can learn, some just need a little more help and that is where I can help. I believe having fun while learning makes it easier for the students to learn. I try to incorporate real life scenarios into every lesson to better help the students visualize what they are learning.
