"I graduated from the University of Idaho with a degree in Elementary Education. Immediately, I received a position as a 5th/6th grade teacher in a highly sought after school district. The following year, I moved to Washington where I taught 3rd grade and Kindergarten. I am certified to teach in the state of Colorado, and I am am substitute for the Poudre School District. With this history of teaching, I am knowledgeable of the expectations for children at grades k-6, and I know how to specialize instruction to help all students reach their goals.

I aim to provide one on one support for students who tend to struggle in a whole classroom setting, or for those who benefit from individual instruction. As an educator, I have strategies and techniques to motivate students to want to succeed, and a tool belt full of interventions in order to give students the help that they need. I am excited to step into working with students outside of the classroom. I put a high emphasis on the importance of building a relationship of trust and rapport with each of my tutoring clients, so they would look forward to their weekly lessons.
