"I received my bachelor's degree from Bucknell University, where I studied Education, Spanish, and Environmental Studies. Since then, I have served as an urban farm educator, bilingual educator, outdoor educator, preschool teacher, and K-3rd grade private school teacher.

I have been a Prek-5th grade private tutor for 2 years and find the work to be very fulfilling as well as important. I have tutored students in many subjects, including reading (Science of Reading method), Spanish, math, science and early phonics work. I also have experience teaching students of all abilities, including students that receive IEP and EC services.

My teaching philosophy draws from Montessori pedagogy, gentle parenting, and mutual respect and every tutoring session is tailored to meet your needs. As a tutor, my top values are empathy, kindness, patience, and transparency and my favorite motto is "practice makes progress". What I enjoy most about tutoring is forming connections with my students, finding what works for each individual, and watching students grow. My mission is to inspire my students to be kind, hard-working, and proud of themselves.
