"Hi, I'm Matea, C.P.A. turned data nerd. I graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science. Why two degrees? Because I was fortunate enough to have an accounting professor who understood the power of programming and data analysis and a computer science professor who helped me consolidated my course schedules to hit my goal of graduating in four years. These degrees have opened so many doors for me and I hope to help others hone their skills for future opportunities as well!

While studying, I worked as a peer tutor, assisting fellow undergraduate students in courses such as Financial Accounting, Managerial Accounting, and Computer Science. I also provided guidance with test-taking strategies and study skills and coached students in time management skills.

I have three years of experience in tutoring financial and computer programming concepts. I prefer one-on-one tutoring as it allows me to cater to the individual's needs and learning style.

Having passed the C.P.A. exams and published two research articles, I have experience writing and proofreading academic and professional papers.

I currently work as a data analyst and use programming concepts on a daily basis. Particularly, I have advanced experience in SQL, Power BI, Excel, VBA, and Alteryx.
