"Bonjour! My name is Maya. I am a native French speaker who was born, raised and educated in France. I tutor middle school, high school (including takers of the SAT French Subject Test), and college students French. I have also taught adult learners as well as French immersion students for the past 5 years.

I completed my undergraduate studies at a French Research University with a vigorous liberal arts core, I am well-rounded in the social sciences. I also completed a Masters Degree in Tourism.

Whatever the objective may be - conversation, help with homework or test preparation - the private one-on-one setting offers a stress free learning environment that helps students gain confidence. My students have found me to be dedicated, flexible and thorough. My approach is focused on the unique needs and objectives of each student. I propose a tailored and personalized plan for each student. This plan can be adapted to fit each student's individual skill level and pace of learning. I strive to respond to emergency situations as I very much want my students to succeed. I greatly enjoy opportunities to help students and motivate others to further improve their knowledge of my native language and culture.
