"I have been an Elementary teacher in Germany for many years. I am a native speaker and I have the qualifications to teach German as a second language. When I moved to SWFL in 2014, I started German Tutoring in Fort Myers, Naples and Cape Coral. I currently have 14 students 9 yr old to 60 yr old. All Level (native speaker and foreigners)

In my career as a teacher I taught at a Technical and Vocational school in Germany from 2008 – 2013. Their I taught German to 9th Grade students. Modeled professional and ethical standards, ensured that the students are actively engaged in meaningful learning experiences.

In the evening I taught German at the Volkshochschule Hanau (School for adults) from 1998 - 2013.

My students immigrated to Germany from all over the world, I had students from 8-10 countries in the class room. All of them needed to learn German as a second language. I taught to adult foreigners (Level A1 –C1).

Level A1 – Beginners/ Level A2 - Intermediary

Level B1 – needed to pass immigration (600 hours)/ Level B2 – to enter college

Level C1 – admission qualification for state universities

There, I implemented instructional activities contributing to a meaningful climate and identified, selected, and modified instructional resources to meet varied needs. I was also an Instructor for troubled young students who dropped out of school, I ensured that the students received their GED and I assisted students with finding an apprenticeship after receiving their GED.
