"I'm Emily! I'm a straight-A student in the top percentage of my class, and throughout high school, I've taken rigorous STEM classes. I think who you're learning from can be just as important as what you're learning. I think it's important to have a teacher who is willing to go the extra mile and offer any extra help or clarification the student needs, which is something I always strive to do while also pushing the student to get as far as they can on their own. I also think it's important to explain where students made mistakes and how to correct those mistakes, rather than just saying they did it wrong so the student has a better understanding of how to correctly do their work and can succeed on their own.

I've been a tutor for three years, and I've worked with every kind of high school math as well as some science and music. I have experience in both one on one and group tutoring settings for all subjects.
