"I'm Josh! I graduated summa cum laude with a master's degree of math education. I started helping students with math back in high school and I continued to work with students in college at a math tutoring center. I always love the feeling of helping students understand material and am always willing to use different strategies to get students where they need to be in understanding.

I usually begin sessions by getting a feeling for how the student learns and then give a personalized lesson of the topic. I always give plenty of time for practice, and will show multiple strategies for finding a solution if needed. I am happy to work with students that are starting from scratch in their understanding all the way to those that just need to brush up on a few ideas. I make great use of technology while teaching and tutoring and will always encourage students to make the best use of their resources.

I have been tutoring since college and I have been teaching for 10+ years. I have taught and tutored everything from algebra 1 to AP statistics. I have versatility in my methods and I am always willing to take on the challenge of working on more difficult concepts with students.
