"I have a Master's degree in Bilingual Education, and am certified to teach high school Spanish, Business, Social Studies, and English as a Second Language. During my 15 years of teaching high school Spanish, I found that it's my favorite subject to teach! I enjoy making it fun for my students.

I participated in the Fulbright Teacher Exchange Program in the fall semester of 2011, living in Pachuca, Hidalgo, Mexico and teaching English at a university there. I enjoyed the opportunity to experience the Spanish culture in day-to-day life.

In 2002, I received the State of Arizona Silver Apple Award for Excellence in Teaching, upon being nominated by one of my students.

I've been tutoring high school Spanish for the past seven years, and enjoy it immensely! Working one-on-one with students allows me to build their confidence in learning Spanish as well as boosting grades.
