"Many students want to excel in their approach to a career in the legal field. Tom T spent more than a decade teaching first and second year law students in North Texas in a friendly and relaxed manner. Teaching LSAT prep and mentoring lawyers and legal staff have given him the tools necessary to assist students to achieve success in their pursuit of a legal career. His experience includes serving as a professor of legal research, analysis and writing at a north Texas law school, and teaching LSAT prep at Kaplan.

Tom T understands the law school experience. Whether judging advocacy competitions or in one-on-one consultations with students, he has given feedback and advice to help students deal with complex issues. In writing, Tom T has not only drafted winning trial briefs and appeals, but also scientific documents including PhD dissertations, grant applications, and submitted articles. He has given one on one writing advice to students in many disciplines from high school to post-doc levels.

An avid student of American and World History, Tom T has developed a thorough understanding of both the currents of historical events and the progress of civilization that has driven them. He has given personal guided tours of American historical sites such as the Alamo and Civil War battlefields and has written essays on the curious characters of the Cold War.
