"I grew up in Mainland China and started to tutor international students Mandarin Chinese since 1997 in Beijing. In 1999, I emigrated to America and went to the New York Institute of Technology, where I received my Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting in 2002.

From 2000 to 2015, I taught Chinese at the New York Region of Berlitz Language Center. At Berlitz, 50% of my classes were one-on-one tutoring, the other 50% were group lessons with any size from 2 to 6 students. Our Chinese programs included comprehending, grammar, speaking, reading and writing lessons for students from beginning through advanced levels. My students included children, middle to high school students, college students and adults from various countries with different backgrounds. Many of them were business executives and professionals who were sent by their companies to study Chinese at Berlitz.

I design and prepare instruction programs based on each student's current level and situation, and we target at meeting their special needs and achieving their specific goals.
