"Hi, I'm Alyssa! I graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor's degree in Business Management and minor in Coaching. Currently, I am working on my Master's degree in Organizational Leadership where I have focused on classes such as Finance, Accounting, HR, Organizational Management and several others. While I love understanding business concepts, I have a passion for helping other students develop an understanding and love for these concepts also. My tutoring philosophy involves a variety of fun and educational methods to help engage the student and make key concepts memorable. I have also found that comparing concepts to real life experiences is one of the most applicable ways for students to learn and practice what they learn in the workplace. My goal is to prepare my students to thrive in the business workplace someday and help them master their education today.

I have gained business experience through internships and jobs in the fields of finance, HR, office administration (QuickBooks, Excel, Microsoft experience,) banking, and sales. My goal has been to gain diverse perspective in the workplace so that I can constantly be growing myself and teaching others. I gained experience in tutoring small business groups during my undergrad. While this was voluntary, it showed me that I enjoy teaching others and helping them succeed. I have worked with all ages from elementary children to college students as a voluntary tutor. Now during grad school I would love the opportunity to continue helping others learn on a broader spectrum.

I want to benefit my students in any way possible; and therefore offer an initial 30-minute free consultation for a chance for us to get to know each other and to see if working together would be a good fit for us both. I welcome any suggestions or resources from both students and parents and will do my best to help in any way I can.
