"Greetings, I'm Siradio B.; I hold a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics with minors in Finance and Physics from Clayton State University (CSU). I graduated with a cumulative GPA of 3.25/4.0. At CSU, I received an award of Superior Excellence (April 2019) and an award of Outstanding Excellence (April 2018) from the College of Information and Mathematical Sciences. During my time at the school, I also remained on the Dean's List for many years. Besides speaking fluent French, I am the secretary and chief financial officer of a nonprofit organization with about 200 members called ARMA, which stands for Association des Ressortissants de Mamou d' Atlanta.
I have assisted students of various backgrounds and abilities in improving their grades, understanding, and enjoyment of mathematics. I am very patient with students, and I move at their pace until they are comfortable with what I am teaching. According to Albert Einstein, "If you cannot explain it simply, you do not understand it well enough." Hence, I strive to explain things clearly to my students.
A good professor or teacher is nice to have, but sometimes, an excellent personal tutor is what you need to master the subjects with less struggle. Professors and teachers have a limited amount of time to answer every student's question; they are bound to cover the required material within the given time frame regardless of whether the student understands it or not. For example, my differential equations professor will often respond to students' questions by saying, "you're supposed to know that by now!" That indicated that he didn't have the time to fill up the gaps preventing the student from understanding the current lesson, which is the tutor's responsibility. Tutors fill in those gaps by allowing students to ask them questions at any time during their explanation of the subject. Additionally, they provide students with key concepts to make the learning process easier and more memorable.
I look forward to having you as my next student. Thank you!" less...
