"I’m Robbie, I graduated from Saint Joseph’s University with Honors and was simultaneously a scholar athlete. I am certified for Middle School Education and High School Education. I have experience in both a high school classroom setting as well as a middle school classroom setting. This year I taught English, Social Studies, and Civics. I love helping students conquer subjects they may struggle in but I also make sure that they are learning and retaining the information. Helping young children/young adults has always been something I have been passionate about which is why even from a young age I coached swim lessons, and was a camp counselor.

My main area of focus will be English. My strengths include helping with essay writing, reading comprehension, public speaking, vocabulary etc. My background as a virtual teacher and as a traditional classroom teacher give me a depth of knowledge on how to best accommodate to the student. In my class this year the class sizes we 7-12 students, so I know how to give students direct help and always make sure they are not falling behind. This is not only a passion of mine but it brings me great joy to seek them succeed.

I put a great emphasis on writing and making sure it sounds as formal as possible. That lays the foundation for a student to thrive in the subject. Public speaking and presenting are also areas that I assist students. In my classroom this past year I saw many students become more comfortable speaking to crowds and putting more effort into their writing so they can lay out their thoughts as succinctly and perfectly as possible.
