In my history, I always treat students on a case by case basis. If a certain explanation does not make sense, I try a different tactic, until something catches. Different students learn in different ways, and finding the correct way is the biggest step in helping a student. I have often found that because teachers work with so many students at a time, they can only have time to teach in one certain style. This is where private tutoring can help adapt the information to a way more understandable to the student.
