"For students who are struggling academically as a result of the pandemic, I am qualified to provide specialized instruction to bridge the gaps that result. I can help students in grades 4-12 be successful in reading and writing and grades 4-6 in math. I do not tutor grades kindergarten-3 as my experience with these grades is very limited. I am a Dyslexia/Intervention Specialist and am certified in English, English Language Arts, Reading, and Generic Special Education with extensive experience in elementary math. My master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction enables me to design specific lessons for individual learning styles. My tutoring groups have, without exception, been successful in showing phenomenal success. I have completed coursework for Integrating Literacy Across the Curriculum and Accelerated Reading Instruction for At-Risk Students. In addition, I have completed a graduate session of sixty hours for teaching language and verbal expression to students in grades 6-12. My job descriptions have included English, Content Mastery, and Resource for sixth, seventh, eighth, and ninth grades. I developed a program entitled "That's It!" designed to serve the needs of the struggling reader and/or the limited English speaker. I was awarded "Teacher of the Year" by Wal-Mart and Sam's Club for 2003.

Final editing can help raise that B+ paper to an A by ensuring there are no grammatical or punctuation problems in an essay. I can provide this service via email by making corrections with or without explanation.

I am also able to provide homeschoolers with specialized approaches that enable students to become independent thinkers and successful learners." less...
