"Hello!

My name is Dorothy. I graduated with a B.S. in Biochemistry with high distinction and biochemistry honors. I took a gap year and during that time, I took PhD Pharmacology courses for fun. Currently, I am a 4th year medical student getting ready to graduate with my MD and start residency!

I have been a private tutor since 2006. I have worked as a tutor at a Math and Reading learning center for two years and I have worked as a science supplemental Instructor at the university I attended. I know that I am an effective tutor because I am able to convey information in many different ways so that students have the opportunity to understand a subject from different viewpoints. I feel that this is necessary because when students are able to tackle a question in more than one way, they are able to analyze and think "outside the box."
