"I am currently a stay at home mom. I have a two year old son that loves cars, trucks and trains. Before I had my son, I was a High School Spanish teacher. I spent the most time teaching Spanish 3 (Honors, Gifted and College Prep), but also taught Honors and Gifted Spanish 2, College Prep Spanish 1 and AP Spanish Language and Culture. I taught High School for 6 years. Before that, I taught Middle School for 8 years. In the Middle School, I taught Spanish as a Connections class and I taught Spanish 1.

I enjoy teaching and tutoring. I enjoy connecting with the students and figuring out how they learn best. And I enjoy watching the students grasp an understanding of the language and gain an appreciation for it.

I am a native English speaker. I learned Spanish in high school. I fell in love with the language and culture and continued taking it in college. I attended Berry College in Rome, Georgia. I majored in Spanish and minored in Education. While teaching, I attended the University of Georgia and got my Master's in Additional Languages Education. I have had 2 opportunities to study abroad. I studied in Seville, Spain for a semester during my junior year of college and I studied in Cuernavaca, Mexico for the summer during my Master's Program.
