"I am full-time chemistry tutor specializing in general chemistry and organic chemistry at both the high school and college level. I have been tutoring privately for over 5 years.

While a graduate student at Stanford University, I was a teaching assistant in several undergraduate and graduate chemistry courses and have a firm understanding of what is required to succeed at a high level in any chemistry class.

My goal as an effective tutor is to help in providing the knowledge and problem solving skills required for success in any chemistry class. Whether its reviewing material from a lecture or a text book, working through practice problems or just speaking generally about topics, I am always willing to do what is needed to guide students toward a successful path. I also feel its important to make the tutoring experience as fun and enjoyable as possible!

In addition to covering the course material, I feel it’s important to work with students on refining their study and problem solving skills. This will not only have immediate benefit for the class they are currently but will be helpful for challenging classes in the future.
