"Hi! My name is Katie and I am an experienced and degreed educator. I taught for seven years in elementary classrooms, with most of my time as a 4th grade math and science teacher. I have my Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education, and my Master's Degree in School Counseling. I am also certified and endorsed in Elementary Education, Reading, School Counseling, and English as a Second Language. I am currently employed as a School Counselor and tutor on the side at my school for math.

I enjoy helping students understand the concepts and seeing the lightbulb go off when they understand! In my time as a teacher, I taught general education, gifted students, as well as inclusion small groups.
