"Hello, my name is Scott and I am a 6th grade teacher in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. I am entering my 10th year of teaching; this is my 7th year teaching 6th grade and I also taught 3 years in fourth grade. I've utilized small group instruction throughout my teaching career and I very much enjoy teaching students this way.

I've always enjoyed teaching math. From remediation to advanced, I've taught many different learners in mathematics. I have taught Common Core math and enjoy seeing students make gains in this subject area.

Science is a great interest of mine. I've taught science and prepared students for testing in this area throughout my teaching career.

Grammar can be fun! That's what I tell my students. I realize that this isn't the most engaging topic, but there are way to make it more interesting!

In my spare time, I enjoy being outside and being with my family (and dog). I also coach track & field in the spring!
