"I started my career in education as a tutor in middle school math and English. This is now my 5th year and I am a middle school classroom teacher who works in Harlem, NY. I spent my first 4 years as an educator in Newark, NJ. I thoroughly enjoy working with students and expect to see growth as a result of the work that we put in together.

I was trained for teaching as an undergraduate at UMass Amherst in elementary education and as graduate student at NYU. I have my teaching certificate as a teacher of English from NJ state. Tutoring is amazing because it allows the tutor and tutee to develop a strong working relationship. This pushes student learning and allow the tutor to tailor their instruction to match the needs of the student.
