"Hello! I'd like to take this time to introduce myself to you all. I've been in education for 20 years. A majority of that time was spent in Early Childhood. I received my teaching certificates through the Alternate route programs. I have both elementary and Preschool- 3rd grade Teaching certifications. I also have my Master's degree in Teaching Preschool-3rd grade. Over the last 4 years, I've been a substitute teacher in many elementary schools throughout South Jersey. I am currently a part-time RtI teacher for a local school district.

What I love most about tutoring is the 1-1 attention it affords. I've done some tutoring in the past, but during these times, where virtual learning is taking it's toll on every one, I've decided to offer my 20 years of experience to help struggling students.

I have spent much of the last four years in the elementary setting. I've helped students in grades preschool through 5th grade. I've learned a lot and have had to help struggling students with differentiated instruction.

I have a natural passion for reading and love to spread my love of reading to others. I spent many years teaching pre-reading skills as well as the last few years helping students with grammar.

Phonics is one of those pre-reading skills that come into play. Matching letters with sounds can truly be difficult for some students to master. This was something I did in the classroom everyday and there's loads of activities to help with phonics.

I am a dedicated teacher, devoted to my students and will work relentlessly to help them succeed in any way I can. I am always willing to learn new things and am open to suggestions made by parents and students to aid in their success. I am easy to reach and will respond as quickly as I can.
