"Hi! I'm Lisa and I've been a public school teacher for 27 years. I have a BS in Communications, a Masters degree in Education, and a second Masters in Educational Administration. Teaching is my passion and I enjoy my job immensely.

I have been tutoring students for 20 years. I love tutoring because it's amazing to watch students grow academically and gain confidence. I can provide both remedial help and enrichment. I can also help with test prep.

I am a certified Wilson/Orton Gillingham Reading instructor. This program is designed for students with dyslexia and those with decoding difficulties. I am also a certified ESL teacher. I have been teaching reading, writing, phonics, and English language skills for my entire career. I am familiar with many different writing programs and I'm able to give students strategies to improve. After meeting with a student, I assess his/her level and tailor a program that is appropriate for his/her level.

I am a Wilson Reading instructor. Wilson/Orton Gillingham is a multisensory reading program that targets phonics, spelling, and comprehension. It is extremely beneficial for those students with dyslexia and those with decoding difficulties. I also teach the Fundations program which is a phonics-based program for younger children.
