"I’m Eda! I have my BA in Economics, first MA in Banking and second MA in International Relations. I am currently pursuing my Ph.D in International Security and Terrorism. In college, I realized that the classes I liked most weren’t necessarily the topics I was most interested in. Rather, it was the professors who made the classes enjoyable. Those professors were always engaging, structured, and comprehensible when teaching the material during the classes. They were also always ready to help when I need and ask a question. I try to bring this knowledge to my tutoring approach, and do everything I can to make Turkish learning an easy and fun experience.

I have more than 10 years of Turkish tutoring experience. I teach to all levels. My students include diplomats, relatives of embassy personnel, businessmen, project managers, and other foreigners who want to learn not only Turkish language but also the Turkish culture.

My aim is to enable my students to achieve the four basic language skills, which are the listening comprehension, reading comprehension, oral and written expression, without neglecting the grammar. In this way I ensure my students are able to learn equally the six basic skills of language, grammar, reading, listening, dictation, writing and speaking. After I understand the skills and the level of my students during the first sessions, I prepare exercises tailored to improve what they are most in need of. For each session, I bring materials to be covered during the session and give extra to the student as homework. I will provide all the materials so you don’t need to buy anything.
