"I received my initial tutor certification in 2009 through North Coast Tutoring in Solon, Ohio. Since then I've tutored students from ages 6 through 19, primarily in the areas of reading, writing and study skills. I've also worked as an instructor/counselor in a summer program for students with learning and social difficulties. I have a BA in English, and I currently hold an Ohio Substitute Teacher certification.

I take an individual approach to students, evaluating their learning styles and finding methods that work for each one. My greatest pleasure is seeing a student's face light up when he or she "gets it."
