"I am a laid back, fun piano teacher who keeps learning music exciting! I had been teaching in a studio, but the Covid pandemic sidelined this effort. Therefore, I took all of my teaching online. I have grown my online studio and reach children all over the country! I love teaching in this forum and have learned many things over the past few months on how to effectively teach in this way. My degree is in Music Education from the University of Illinois. I am also an RN, but primarily have returned to my love of music.

I know how to keep kids engaged. It is challenging online as a lot of kids have their schoolwork online, but through many games, fun curriculum designed individually for each student, and keeping learning fun, I am effectively able to engage my students.
