"I taught German at UW Madison while working on my Doctorate. I was a corporate trainer for several years for Case New Holland. I taught Middle school and High School German for Racine Unified School district. I have tutor German, English as a second language, philosophy and history throughout my career.

I grew up in Racine Wisconsin. My wife is from Brazil and I am learning Portuguese. I play soccer every weekend and like taking trips on my Kawasaki Motorcycle. Being healthy and happy both physically and mentally has become very important to me. I always want to learn new things and visit new places

I offer a range of topics in German lessons to be comparable to A1 to C2 levels and can use popular culture items like the Lord of the Rings, Superheroes, or cartoon characters, as well as teaching to specific vocabulary and grammar needs in business, medicine or academic German. I have been teaching German for 20 years. I first lived in Germany when I was 17 and have been there many times. I've been able to help a wide range of students from middle school students to adults. I am trained as an expert in historical German linguistics and German literature and have my graduate degree from UW Madison. This and the practical experience of teaching in many different environments allows me to bring unique ideas to my teaching to keep it fresh and fun.
