"I have one question for you: have you ever felt confused in class? Have you ever experienced that "sinking feeling" when you just couldn't understand a particular topic? Perhaps your classmates seemed to easily master the concept while you just couldn't grasp it?

The situation described above is a common complaint that I frequently hear from my students. Unfortunately, many students don't feel that they have adequate access to their teachers or professors for classroom assistance. Often times, students simply don't feel comfortable seeking help from their instructors. This is where a personal tutor becomes very handy!

But, before continuing much further, I should share a little bit of information about me! I graduated from the University of Kentucky with summa cum laude honors (4.0 gpa) with a B.A. in biology. Following graduation, I completed two years at the University of Kentucky College of Medicine (with honors) before deciding to pursue teaching full-time. While medicine will always have a special place in my heart, I simply realized that education is my true passion! As an experienced student, I have mastered many challenging and difficult subjects at the high school level (I graduated Valedictorian from my high school), undergraduate level, and graduate level.
