"I have a PhD. in Microbiology, have taught at the post-secondary level, and have experience developing content and curricular materials. Most of my students have been at the high school and undergraduate level, though I have experience tutoring grad students as well. I spent nearly three years working with science and engineering departments at MIT as a department liaison for MIT OpenCourseWare.

I try to make my sessions interesting and fun, while focusing on the concepts instead of specific questions. I want my students to reason through difficult concepts, which helps not only with understanding, but also with test taking, time management, and accuracy.

Science and learning are my loves and I hope to help my students love learning as much as I do! I have lots of experience, stories, and insights that help personalize topics that can be overwhelming initially. Again, I strive for conceptual understanding instead of rote memorization.
