"To all potential students of mine, I will be delighted to help you towards whichever goal you'd like to achieve from getting tutoring, whether it's for school, a certification exam, or even a personal project. I've tutored my own colleagues, fellow former classmates, graduate students, and even post-doctoral researchers since 2012 with programming for a wide array of languages, including Python, R, Unix, MATLAB, and Excel VBA. I love to code, as well as teaching others the fun of having such a skill. More importantly, a common goal of my tutoring is to ensure the concepts behind the program has been taught, which will allow for a much better understanding and future growth in the skill. I've taught programming and general CS in many different contexts, from processing fMRI scans to writing scripts for better system administration to handling financial data in Excel. In addition to programming, I also tutor in video production, mainly in the area of video editing. My goal is not only to instill the technical skills for software like Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Photoshop, but to also provide a better level of confidence in others when they tackle any video project going forward. My editing experience spans over 15 years, products which include a national award-winning promotional piece, a successfully funded Kickstarter project, and a full-length concert documentary.
