My name is Abbey, and I would love to be your tutor. I have been tutoring for over 14 years. I am a former MIT student, and I graduated from UAlbany with a BS in Mathematics and Statistics. I have logged over 13,000 tutoring hours and helped 700+ students on Wyzant's platform. I've tutored students from all over the country, all grade levels, and all types of schools. I am confident that I can help your student.

I love tutoring. Helping my students learn and enjoy math (or any subject) is my favorite thing to do. My goal is to not only help my students be more confident in their studies but also create a fun and encouraging environment. I want my students to look forward to their tutoring sessions. I encourage all my students to text me if they have any questions about their homework. I try to be an encouraging and enthusiastic mentor for my students. :).

In addition to everything above, I am a Kaplan-trained SAT tutor. I have been tutoring SAT and ACT prep privately for over 14 years and have helped over 400 students achieve a 750+ on the SAT Math section.

I have also tutored college algebra, trigonometry, precalculus, calculus, statistics, physics, and chemistry at various colleges.

I am very familiar with the Regents curriculum. I received a 100 on the Integrated Algebra, Algebra 2 / Trigonometry, Geometry, Chemistry, and American History Regents. I scored over a 90 on all Regents exams I took.
