"Hi, I’m Rafah! I speak English and Arabic; I have a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from University of Technology / Baghdad, Iraq. I have worked in the educational field for more than 15 years teaching college students in technical institutes.

I worked for one year at a private school in Orange County teaching math to middle and high school students. Also I did one-on-one tutoring in algebra and calculus to help students understand different concepts and to be independent to solve problems later on their own. I believe that most of the students’ problems with math can be solved by spotting their areas of weakness and to overcome them step by step.

Besides of my Master's degree in Electrical Engineering which required a deep knowledge at math, recently, I completed four math courses at Fullerton college : College Algebra, Calculus 1, Calculus 2, and Calculus 3. I did exceptionally well in all my courses and became a member of the Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society.

I am a firm believer that being good in math helps to understand all other subjects quickly and makes the mind more flexible to receive and analyze information.
