"I've been providing intensive math and chemistry tutoring for over four years–leveraging my two chemical engineering degrees from MIT (BS/MS) as well as teaching experience at SF State and American University in DC.

In addition to my degrees and teaching experience, I've also designed and written dozens of interactive math and chemistry modules for leading educational publishers, which empowers my ability to craft custom problems to help you improve your weak areas.

Our initial sessions often focus on homework assistance so we can identify areas that need attention. In most cases, you'll select a problem that's tricky for you and I'll then guide you towards finding the solution (and explain things if you get lost). We'll work through a couple more problems like the first one so you can eventually solve it on your own. The goal is to improve your "content confidence" so you can achieve better quiz and test scores.

To help with "looming" exams, I often recommend an accelerated test prep "sprint" - an intensive 2-5 day series of custom-tuned problem sets to firm up your weak areas ahead of a major exam. The sprint includes test-taking tactics and strategies.
