"I am a certified German teacher who would like to share my passion for the German language and culture with you! I use the immersion method and focus on what you are able to do with German at the end of our lessons. We will focus on vocabulary building, proper sentence structure and communication in the four skills of speaking, writing, listening and reading. Culture is integrated throughout the lessons, so that one can gain a better understanding of the similarities and differences of the German-speaking world and the United States. I hold a B.A in German, two graduate degrees in education, and I have 26 years' experience teaching children, young adults and adults. I was very fortunate to realize my dream to live and work in Germany for five years, where I ultimately gained fluency and expertise in the German language and culture via a first-hand immersion experience.
