I am a musicologist by trade and education, but currently, I am translating the German writings of the 19th-century composer Franz Liszt into English for Scarecrow Press. In addition to my music history and theory studies, I have studied piano since I was three years old, and I have performed several varieties of music in the United States and several European countries. I would be happy to help you with whatever musical issues you are having. I used to teach music history and theory classes at the Univ. of North Texas and the Boston Conservatory, and I truly miss teaching!
