"Hello! I am a graduate student pursuing her PEL in secondary and middle school ELA. I am familiar with ACT/SAT writing and reading scores, ESL tutoring, and the CCSS.

I graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelors's degree in English. As an undergraduate student, I was interested in becoming a teacher, but I decided to wait and gain experience in other fields before pursuing my PEL. After working as a successful executive assistant for a couple of years, I decided to pursue my goal of becoming a teacher and enrolled in my local university. I am now a graduate assistant in the education department and I look forward to creating my own engaging classroom environment for my future students.

I have experience tutoring college students, ESL students, as well as elementary age students. I have worked one-on-one with students in the college setting, as well as with groups of students in local high schools. I am familiar with CCSS, differentiation methods, and the UDL guidelines for creating optimal educational opportunities for students of all grade levels.
