"I have been told many times I have changed someone's life. If I set my mind to helping, I will do whatever it takes, and I rarely work with students who have not met or exceeded their goals. Because of my strong track record with admissions, I am limited in taking new students but will do my best on first come, first serve basis. I graduated summa cum laude from Harvard and was admitted early action. I graduated in the top 5% of my class, so I have a strong academic background.
Given my area of expertise, I take on competitive undergrad and grad admissions essays. I teach exceptionally strong writing skills and assist with complex papers (including structuring, editing and citation). A dedicated, skilled tutor can bring students light years ahead in their writing. I have quickly advanced students to A level writing, competitive admissions, and for publication.
One thing I do well is to understand the individual. I have helped those with learning disabilities, medical issues, and who are under-performing or not performing at the level they wish. I love a challenge and believe deeply in the ability to change, academically and across all areas of life.
If a student has financial constraints, please message me. If there are issues with a lesson, please let me know so we can improve the sessions together. I conduct most by cell and and in google docs to stay focused on the page. My goal is to make every student self sufficient and to advance towards a goal in as short a time as possible.
While I do have a 24 hour cancellation policy, I try to be flexible when there are medical issues or extenuating circumstances." less...
