Essay Engineering is an innovative method for studying English and History (secondary school, college level), which reconceptualizes essay writing in terms of critical thinking and analysis. Reading comprehension is redefined as "meaning reconstruction"; essay composition is redefined as "meaning patterns for conceptual frameworks". The EE learning method consists of a fully-developed suite of learning materials I use when working with students: to gain maximum benefit from lessons, I have prepared written materials (a book manual) and a lecture video series which the student can independently work through.
