"My background is in Marketing and Public Relations. After many years I wanted a change. I decided to go to Costa Rica for my TEFL Certification to learn to teach English as a Second Language (ESL). After a very intensive and exciting course in Playa Samara, Costa Rica, I took a position at instituto Estelar Bilingue.

At Estelar I taught very advanced young adults and teenagers, children, and seniors over 50 who could not speak a word of English when they started. I taught them to say, "Hello, how are you?" I'm fine, how are you." When I left they were reading and speaking with so much improvement. Now, I want to continue to teach ESL and help students with their English, no matter what level. I love teaching and really try to make it fun.II
