"I'm an English teacher with 19 years of experience teaching grades 8-12. My classes focus primarily on analytical reading and writing, online and Web 2.0 based instruction, and articulating one's thoughts correctly. In addition to my classroom experience, I have tutored privately and find that extremely rewarding.

Currently, I'm licensed to teach both grammar and literature for grades 7-12. Aside from my in-class experience, I have had several pieces of writing ranging from poetry to literary criticism, to feature articles about skateboarding published. Prior to teaching, I worked as a newspaper reporter and photographer, which helped me develop great proofreading and editing experience.
