"I have a major in Math and a Master's of Science degree in Mathematics. I work full-time as a high school mathematics teacher. I was born in Germany, grew up in Turkey, and I've been living in the U.S. since 2005. I work full-time as a high school math teacher.

Currently, I am teaching Algebra 2 and Precalculus both honors level and level 2. In previous years I taught Algebra I, Geometry, Statistics in different level classroom settings.

While working on my master's thesis which was on the comparative textbook analysis of quadratic units in Singapore and the U.S textbooks, I analyzed Singapore's curriculum. As a result, I have a knowledge of the Singapore curriculum and textbooks used in Singapore schools.

As a teacher, I expect my students to accept challenges, make mistakes, and learn from their mistakes. Mathematics plays such a critical in our lives and learning mathematics helps strengthen our logical reasoning and problem-solving skills. I believe with a growth mindset these skills can improve.
