"Hello! I'm Conor. I come from Walsenburg, a beautiful small town in Southern Colorado. Throughout high school, I worked as an instructor at the local boy scout ranch and developed a passion for small-group, individualized education. I have always loved learning, but through my travels and my experience with higher education, I have come to realize that the American system is not well-suited for dealing with students as individuals.

I was able to attain a full-ride scholarship to my college of choice and recently graduated from the University of Denver with a bachelor's degree in German and Painting, two subjects which I am passionate about but would not have been able to study if it were not for my scholarships. I will soon go back to school for a Master's degree in education, but for now, I am saving money and fighting the good fight on the ground. Guerilla Education!

I majored in German and Art, but honestly, there’s a philosophy minor forged somewhere in between those two subjects. I am passionate about connecting philosophical study to every day life. I believe that there are lessons to be learned from all of humanity’s great thinkers, and the real work involves putting yourself into their shoes in order to understand the significance of their revolutions in thought.

I majored in and achieved a degree in German studies at the University of Denver. This involved studying for a semester at the Freie Universität in Berlin, Germany. I lived with a host family for the duration of my time there and can speak personally about the fact that the majority of language learning happens through immersion and practice, not in the classroom.

I scored a 32 on the Reading and Writing portions of the ACT. Words are awesome.

I achieved my bachelors degree in Studio Art, which involved sculpture and conceptual components, but my focus and passion is painting.
