"I have been an educator since 1989, and all of my in-person teaching has been done in Georgia. I have worked as the Center Director and Director of Education for the Sylvan Learning Center in Columbus, as a middle school teacher for Muscogee County, as an elementary teacher for Cobb County, and as a middle school teacher for Georgia Cyber Academy. I have tutored students individually since 2007.

I specialize in teaching basic math, Pre-Algebra, Algebra 1, and Algebra 2 (not honors, AP, or IB). I've also helped students (both young adults and adults) in test preparation for the math portions of the GED and the ASVAB (military entrance exam).

Math is my specialty. I really enjoy teaching math, including solving word problems. I'm skilled at making math easy to understand, and I've developed some of my own methods that have helped my students achieve high math grades.
