"As a result of my ministerial vocation, academic accomplishments and life experiences, I have a passion to share my knowledge of history, civics, social sciences, and religious studies. I have a Bachelor of Arts degree in philosophy and religion from Shaw University (Raleigh, North Carolina), and in May 2015, I will graduate from Shaw University with a Master of Divinity degree (M.Div.).

My 17 years of ministerial experience encompasses teaching Bible study, Sunday school, new members’ class, interim pastor, workshop facilitator, and evangelism planner. My written and oral communicating skills are strong, and I am apt to listen to students, and discern their needs as they mature in their vocation. In addition, since January 2012 I have been employed as a substitute teacher for the Guilford County School System.

I am confident that my academic, social, life experience, and religious accomplishments will be an asset as an tutor on your staff, I am ready to help guide and prepare this generation of students to enhance their career choices. Outside of the academic arena, I am a husband, father, and grandfather who embrace family values and demonstrate a behavior of integrity.

My passion for historical studies, world religion, geography, and American history is important as to developing an understanding of humanity and their cultures on an global basis.
