"My name is Kylon Collins and I am an aspiring math teacher. I want to teach HS math in the future, right now I student teach a high school near my home full time and I love it. I love working with Kids of ll ages and maths of all grade school levels. I have background with working with younger kids and teaching them during the summers at a summer camp I work for. I have been able to maintain a 3.0 or better gpa while taking upper level math classes at my college. I have taken courses like calc 3, abstract algebra, proofs, all these classes gave me insight on the "why" behind algebra and geometry and grade school math in general. Now when I work with students and help teach I can actually explain the "why" on a simpler level, compared to the "memorize" method.
