"I, Said Najafi, was born on March 09, 1963 in Tehran Iran. I left my country to come to the USA when I was 16. I was in 11th grade when I came to the US and I started attending Hollywood High School. I graduated from Van Nuys High School on June of 1981. I then went to Holly Names college during the school year of 1981-1982. I then attended San Diego State University. I got a Bachelor of Science degree from San Diego State University in Electrical Engineering on June 1985. I continued my education in San Diego State University and got my Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering on December of 1987. I worked as an electrical engineer from 1987 to 2007. I then decided to become a math teacher and get my teaching credential at the same time. I got my single subject (Math) teaching credential on March of 2010. I then decided to get my Master degree in Math so I can teach in a college setting. I got Master of Science degree in Math on June of 2014. I now have 13 years of teaching experience in secondary education and 6 years of part time teaching in a college. I am trying to get my doctoral degree in education so when I graduate in a year, I can become a university professor.
